Jason's story;
Jason Egan is a nine year old boy with an extremely rare brain disease which is undiagnosed. You would never know there is anything wrong with Jason, as he is always smiling and laughing as if there is not a worry in the world. Jason was born a normal baby with a complete brain. Over the years his brain disease has been eating away at his cerebellum and more recently his brain. Jason has extremely weak muscle tone unable to walk or talk and is wheelchair bound. Jason eats very little and is mainly fed through a peg feed directly into his stomach. Jason enjoys the simplest things in life, mainly sitting outside watching kids running around and playing, or someone mowing their lawns, or even horses being worked or just grazing. It is very rare not to see Jason smiling or laughing. Jason's favourite activity is when his Father pushes Jason in his wheelchair around their 10km block going for a run. Whenever Jason is around,the room lights up and he always makes you forget about any problems and issues and brightens you up.
This year, we are raising money for Jason (pictured Below)
